Jason Coghill

Solo: Jason is most at home doing the pub/bar gigs, playing a smooth James Taylor ballad, or belting out a Bruce Springsteen classic with just a guitar, stomp box and tambourine. Jason was also a feature performer at Skilled Stadium in front of 30,000 Cats fans after they won the Grand Final in 2007 where he performed his original song, Year of The Cat.

Duo: 'AcousticOz' is a tribute to the greats of Aussie pop rock over the last 40 years.  Played on acoustic guitars, with options of harmonica, stomp box, flute, and professionally recorded backing tracks, AcousticOz brings out the melodies and harmonies that have become the soundtrack of our lives growing up in this Great Southern Land (and yes, they sing that one).

Band: Jason's live set can easily expand to a trio, all the way to a 5pc (adding bass & drums) which suits festivals and corporate functions etc.

Jason has written and produced several albums, and has performed live, both nationally and overseas. His song Weekend Away won the ABC's national song competition I Wanna Play Apollo Bay and scored his duo a support for the Russell Morris/Brian Cadd show. Other supports include Renee Geyer and Jo Camilleri.

A seasoned and professional performer, his repertoire is varied beyond his specialty in beloved Aussie favourites and is a welcome addition to any venue or event.
